A very brief description of our ideal franchisee would be a “people-person” with strong management skills, who enjoys customer service. We are looking for franchisees who are self-starters, highly motivated, organized, detail oriented, energetic, and good at team-building. Food service experience is not as essential as having the drive to be successful.

Single Unit Franchisee Area Developer
(3 - 9 stores)
Regional Developer
(Master Franchisee, 10 or more stores)

A Master Franchisee, also called a Regional Developer, has the rights to a larger area than that of an Area Developer. The Master Franchisee, in addition to opening franchises at a much reduced franchise fee and paying only ½ (one-half) of the standard royalty fee, can also sell single unit franchises, multi-unit franchises and area development franchises and profit from each sale.

The Master Franchisee receives ½ (one-half) of the royalties and franchise fees paid by each franchisee in the Master Territory. There may be additional income available from distribution of products through the franchisees in the area and possibly even some real estate interest.

The Master Franchisee becomes somewhat of a sub-franchisor for the area, without having been subjected to all the trial and error experienced by the founders of Wingman. The Master Franchisee will be required to open and operate one unit (pilot location), for income and to use as a training center.

The initial investment is quite low compared to the type of value you can build as Master Franchisee. The flexibility for the franchisee is also greatest at this level.

  • Franchise Fee: $25,000 for 1st unit (due at signing)
  • Master Territory Franchise Fee: $50,000 (due at signing; secures territory to develop
    ten units)
  • Minimum Cash Liquidity: $100,000 to $125,000
  • Estimated Total Cost: $200,000 to $350,000 for each location owned by Master Franchisee
  • Royalties: 2.5% of Net Sales  from each location owned by Master Franchisee
  • National Advertising: 1% of Net Sales  from each location owned by Master Franchisee
  • Franchise Fee Split: 50% of Franchise Fees collected by Wingman for units sold in the Master Territory are paid to the Master Franchisee
  • Royalties Split: 50% of Royalties collected by Wingman for units sold in the Master Territory are paid to the Master Franchisee

  • Level of participation: The master franchisee will open and operate at least one unit and will in time train a manager to supervise day-to-day operations. The Master Franchisee normally focuses attention on marketing and selling single or multiple unit franchises and assisting them with training and support. Very rarely is a Master Franchisee “hands on” in a unit franchise. Master Franchisees tend to spend more of their time operating like a business consultant or coach to their franchisees to help them become successful.
